First released in late 2022, the Google Pixel 7 Pro still stands up to modern standards with a long-lasting battery, capable camera and nice design. Find our best Pixel 7 Pro deals with affordable pay-monthly mobile phone plans on powerful refurbished models.
There are still plenty of Google Pixel 7 Pro deals available, so how do you make sure you get it on the right contract?
First off, decide how much data you need. Check your current data usage on your network’s app or by looking at your monthly bills. This will give you an idea of how much data you’ll need each month, so you can avoid paying for data you don't need, without risking running out each month.
The Pixel 7 Pro is available with two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Expect to pay more for the latter. Most contract deals are now for refurbished phones, so handset condition will also be a factor.
Any amount you pay upfront and the contract length you choose will also change your monthly fee. To make sure it’s a good deal, look at the total cost of the contract.
You can find Google Pixel 7 Pro contract offers on refurbished models, allowing you to roll your airtime and device costs into one monthly fee. Expect to pay an upfront fee upwards of £100 with a monthly fee of around £25.
This should net you around 100-200GB of data, which should be plenty for modern life on the go. Note that contract prices are likely to rise each April, so check your specific deal and factor any price rises into your comparison.
Your other option is to get a refurbished SIM free Google Pixel 7 Pro. You should be able to find the 128GB version for under £300 in good condition. Expect to pay more for the 256GB version, although the price gap has narrowed from the original £100 difference. So it won't cost you that much more to go big on storage.
The Pixel 7 Pro is no longer being manufactured by Google, so it's unlikely you'll find a contract deal with no upfront cost.
You might find a Pixel 7 Pro contract that allows you to choose the amount you pay upfront. Opting for zero here will mean you pay more monthly.
At the time of writing, we don’t have any unlimited data deals for the Google Pixel 7 Pro. But we do have some that come with 200GB+, which should be more than enough data for most people.
If you're sure you really need an unlimited data deal, your best bet is to buy a SIM free Pixel 7 Pro and then search for a SIM only deal that fits your needs. This means you can get unlimited data from your choice of network.
Buying the Pixel 7 Pro SIM free and pairing it with a cheap SIM only deal is almost always the most cost-effective route overall.
Be aware that any annual price increases apply to your entire bill - handset included. By buying the phone outright, you protect the bulk of your investment from rising inflation.
That said, if your priority is immediate savings, a contract will offer lower upfront fees. If you’re comfortable with spreading a larger cost over time, a contract could work better for you.
Google Pixel 7 Pro pay monthly deals typically require a positive credit check because you'll be paying for the phone monthly. And you'll need to sign a contract that agrees to the payment terms.
You might be turned down if you have bad credit, as this signals to the network that you could struggle to keep up with the payments. If you have a low credit rating, a better option might be buying a SIM free handset and a flexible SIM only deal. Rolling SIM plans typically don’t require a credit check.
As this model is no longer manufactured, a SIM free deal is the cheapest option overall, although the upfront cost will be higher than getting a Pixel 7 Pro with a contract. Expect to pay under £300 for a second-hand 128GB Pixel 7 Pro. The 256GB version typically comes in a bit over this figure.
Buying a refurbished Pixel 7 Pro from a reputable retailer means you'll receive a smartphone that has been thoroughly inspected and comes with a warranty, making it a great-value option.
Buying a second-hand model via social media or auction sites almost certainly won’t offer the same level of device checks or any aftercare if the device turns out to be faulty. While you could get the handset at a cheaper price, it might not be a great investment in the longer term.
We currently have Google Pixel Pro deals on Vodafone’s network, which offers strong coverage, competitive prices and the VeryMe rewards app that lets you enter competitions and access discounts on food and cinema tickets.
Other major networks that stocked the Pixel 7 Pro when new might now offer refurbished models at great prices. If you buy a SIM free Pixel 7 Pro, you can choose a SIM only deal from the network of your choosing, like:
“If you're using a significantly older phone, such as the iPhone 11, Samsung Galaxy S10, Pixel 4, then the Pixel 7 Pro will offer a big step-up in features and performance at an affordable price point. It's generally cheaper than its big-name contemporaries like the iPhone 14 Pro and Samsung S23 Ultra with similar levels of tech onboard.”

The Google Pixel 7 Pro has several features that outshine the Pixel 6. Firstly, its updated design looks a lot better. And it impresses tech-wise with a superior camera, an enhanced Tensor 2 processor and a longer-lasting battery. You'll also get a brighter screen, face ID and a more responsive fingerprint scanner.
Here’s a glance at the Google Pixel 7 Pro’s spec list:
Battery life will largely depend on the condition of the Pixel 7 Pro when you buy it. A refurbished model in good condition should still offer the solid battery life that the phone is known for.
The Pixel 7 Pro should easily last all day if you're a light to moderate user. Keep a charger close if you need to use your handset for more than light scrolling, though. It's worth remembering that the Pixel 7 Pro isn't the fastest charging phone out there.
When you're unable to access a power source, you can use the Battery Saver and Extreme Battery Saver modes, which disable particular features while maintaining VIP features (which you can set) to keep you connected to the apps you need.
Several years after its release, the camera on the Pixel 7 Pro remains a hugely impressive part of the phone.
You get a triple lens array, which consists of a 50MP main camera, a 48MP camera with a 5x zoom lens and a 12MP telephoto lens.
The excellent Photo Unblur refines even the blurriest photos and Night Sight provides remarkable clarity in the gloomiest conditions. Add a reliable Macro Focus and you have all the ingredients for a superb point-and-shoot camera to capture memories on the move.
