As you’d expect, iPhone 17 Pro deals will cost you more if you opt for a large data allowance. So you could save on this if you don’t need much data, especially if you spend most of your time connected to Wi-Fi.
Just scroll up this page to start comparing the deals. You can sort by price or by data allowance. We only show iPhone 17 Pro deals from the trusted partners on our panel.
As we write this in September 2025, the iPhone 17 Pro has just launched and costs £1,099 for UK buyers. Rather than buy it upfront, many savvy Apple fans are opting for a monthly contract. You’ll be able to find a huge range of deals at the top of this page as soon as they go live.
As with most mobile phone contracts, there will be mid-contract price rises. Our 24-month deals usually go up in price twice during the term of the contract. So when you’re choosing a deal, don’t forget to factor in these additional costs.
Yes, it will be possible to get your hands on the iPhone 17 Pro without paying anything upfront. We will have some deals on our panel that work like this. Just select ‘no upfront cost’ when you’re filtering your choices to see what’s available.
Phone deals with nothing to pay upfront tend to cost more per month to balance out the lack of an initial payment, so you could end up paying more overall. It’s usually more cost-effective to go for a deal with some kind of upfront payment.
If the upfront payment for the iPhone 17 Pro is just too expensive, we’d recommend looking at other iPhone models to see if there’s something more affordable to meet your requirements. When a new model is launched the old one drops in price and the one before that gets even cheaper, so now is a great time to check out deals on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro.
As of September 2025, we have three networks on our panel offering deals with the iPhone 17 Pro:
We’ll always show you the most up-to-date deals we have when you compare with us.
Yes, it will be possible to get the iPhone 17 Pro on a contract offering unlimited data. As you’d expect, you’ll pay more per month than for contracts with a fixed data allowance.
Before you go for the unlimited option, think about how much mobile data you actually need. If you log into your account with your existing phone service provider, you’ll be able to access records of how much data you tend to use in a month.
If you spend a lot of time in range of a Wi-Fi connection, you probably don’t need as much data as you might think. And you could save by choosing a contract with a capped data allowance.
Unlimited phone data comes into its own if you’re using your phone’s data as a substitute for Wi-Fi. For example, it’s a pretty common way to magic up caravan Wi-Fi on holiday. This tends to be for temporary situations, though, involving travel or a house move. Using your smartphone as a permanent internet connection will wear down the battery fast and could shorten your phone’s life.

As we write this in September 2025, the iPhone 17 Pro is very new, but in due course it’s likely that second-hand refurbished versions will be available. They’re usually a lot cheaper than a brand-new model. Don’t rule this out because you’re worried about quality or functionality. We’re proud to offer a range of contracts with refurbished phones because we know they meet certain standards. It’s just another way to get your dream handset for less.
You can usually save on a phone contract by paying something upfront. Contracts with nothing to pay at the start tend to be a lot pricier per month. There are exceptions, though - always check and run the numbers before you commit.
Here’s your at-a-glance guide to the features of the iPhone 17 Pro:
The Apple team has introduced a number of enhancements that differentiate the iPhone 17 Pro from its predecessor. Here’s a list of the main differences between the iPhone 17 Pro and the older iPhone 16 Pro.
The iPhone 17 Pro has significantly better battery storage than last year’s Pro and faster charging. This puts it on a par with high-performance Android phones like the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL or the Galaxy A56.
The biggest change is probably the ‘vapor chamber’, which is essentially a cooling system for the phone. In the past, iPhones have had a bit of bad press around overheating, especially the iPhone 15 series that launched in 2023. The vapor chamber in the iPhone 17 Pro will put an end to that. Until now, iPhones have mainly relied on passive cooling. The vapor chamber is a tiny sealed section near the phone’s central processing unit (CPU). It works by using water to absorb excess heat from the CPU. The water turns into vapour and moves from the hotter to the cooler end of the chamber, where the vapour condenses back into water. This is more effective than passive cooling.
Phone manufacturers often deploy performance throttling to protect the phone’s components from the effects of overheating. That’s why your phone can slow to a crawl when it’s hot. The vapor chamber means that the iPhone 17 Pro means much less need for performance management, so the phone does everything at top speed for more of the time.
There are a number of other ways that the iPhone 17 Pro improves on the iPhone 16 Pro.
As you’d expect, the newer and more advanced phone costs more than its predecessor. As of September 2025, the iPhone 17 Pro costs £1,099 as compared to £999 for the iPhone 16.
The iPhone 17 Pro is just one of a family of iPhone 17 handsets. As well as the Pro, Apple’s 9 September launch also featured the
That’s four models in total, with the strong possibility that a lower-spec but more affordable model will come out early in 2026.
The iPhone 17 is the original model of the series. It’s the first basic iPhone to have the coveted ProMotion. That’s the tech which gives the screen a 120Hz refresh rate as opposed to the usual 60Hz. It makes watching videos, especially animations, clearer and smoother.
The iPhone 17 also has a camera that’s slightly sharper than the one on the iPhone 16.

Apple’s Pro series of iPhones is known for advanced camera functionality and great audio recording. The iPhone 17 Pro is no exception. Scroll up to see our deals on this model.
As the name suggests, the iPhone Air is distinguished from the others in the series by its strikingly thin and light design. It features the same processing chip as the iPhone 17, the A19 processor. Despite the gossamer-thin body, it still packs a big battery and impressive camera.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max allows high-quality video recording and photography. It has a bigger screen than the Pro, which is great for watching videos. It also has a longer battery life, with the tradeoff that this makes it a little heavier.

As the standard model, the iPhone 17 is the cheapest handset of Apple’s 2025 flagship series. That doesn’t mean that the iPhone 17 is basic or cheap compared to other phones on the market! As you’ve read, it has various features that you won’t get with the iPhone 16.
If you’re prepared to wait for a less pricey iPhone 17 model, there’s a good chance that Apple will eventually release a cheaper phone in the series. Let’s look at what happened with the iPhone 16 family. We had the big launch in September 2024, then in February 2025 Apple brought out the iPhone 16e. This was billed as offering ‘powerful capabilities at a more affordable price’.
We’re expecting the iPhone 18 series to come out in September 2026. September has been the month for Apple to launch its new iPhones ever since Tim Cook took over as CEO in 2011, so we’re expecting them to continue with that tradition.
There are rumours about Apple switching to a ‘split’ strategy where the September launch is reserved for the fancier models in the series and the more basic ones come out later. If that’s the case, we might get the iPhone 18 Pro models in September 2026 and the basic iPhone 18 in the first half of 2027.
Our sister site Tom’s Guide is reporting that the next flagship iPhone could be a folding one. There has been speculation about the iPhone Fold for some time, and now JP Morgan analysts are predicting it will be ready for next September’s launch.
In the meantime, as you’ve read, we predict that early 2026 will see the launch of a more affordable model in the iPhone 17 series.
